WieynkFraktur Bold, designed by Dieter Steffmann of Typographer Mediengestaltung, is a free Fraktur blackletter font built from sweeping curves, sharp cuts, and emphatic thick-thin contrast. Broad strokes and hooked flourishes give the letters medieval authority.

Book covers and metal band merchandise draw on its dark silhouette in very different ways, yet both benefit from lettering that feels forceful, ornate, and unmistakably old-world. For brewery packaging, the angular forms can become part of an engraved-style crest rather than serving as neutral product text. Fantasy game title cards and historical festival posters also suit its pointed detail, decorative rhythm, and ceremonial weight.
