Whipsmart Font

Whipsmart by Lauren Thompson is a free light sans serif whose tall proportions, hairline strokes, and abrupt changes in letter width create an elegant but slightly eccentric silhouette. The rounded forms stay open and spare.

Its fine linear drawing has much in common with minimalist fashion sketches, making it a natural fit for magazine covers, cosmetics packaging, and boutique branding. Those same elongated forms can also lend a refined, unconventional voice to gallery posters and cultural event graphics. Editorial display is its strongest use, especially when the lettering needs to feel distinctly sophisticated without settling into a conventional geometric sans.
