Volk Redis Italic by Peter Wiegel is a free calligraphic script with a loose, looping silhouette. Long strokes sweep far beyond the letters. Narrow forms and changing stroke widths keep the writing in quick, continuous motion.
Romance and personal correspondence suit it well, especially on invitations and greeting cards. The oversized loops also fit fashion packaging and album artwork, echoing ribbons or drawn flourishes. In branding, it can turn a name into a fluid signature mark.
