Vlaanderen Shadow NF by Nick Curtis of Nick's Fonts is a free retro shadowed display font built from broad slab serifs and rounded, tightly fitted forms. Its offset outline gives the lettering sturdy sign-painted depth.

Posters are its strongest setting, especially for heritage fairs, pub promotions, and music events suited to the chunky, cheerful silhouette. On magazine covers and illustrated feature openers, the built-in shadow can become part of the artwork rather than ordinary headline type.
