Cactus Sandwich Font

Cactus Sandwich, designed by Michael Hagemann, is a free cartoon display font with plump, looping letters and a lively cactus motif. Thick rounded forms are crossed by fine needle-like spikes, and small sprouting shapes turn several letters into comic plant characters.

Packaging is an especially good setting for this playful lettering, particularly on hot sauce labels, snack bags, and novelty food products. Its desert humor also fits children's publishing and event posters with Western or garden themes. In merchandise graphics, the spikes and sprouts let each word become part of a cactus illustration rather than serving as ordinary type.
