Transmetals Italic Font

Transmetals Italic, designed by Neale Davidson in 2011, is a free futuristic display font with a strong forward lean and muscular weight, broad curves, and abrupt shifts in stroke width. Sharp triangular cuts give the lettering a fast, machined silhouette.

Its most convincing role is a main title for science-fiction games, electronic music covers, and motorsport event posters, where the compressed slant suggests speed. For vehicle branding and entertainment graphics, the pointed joins and swept strokes can become part of the artwork, echoing metal panels, spacecraft fins, or racing bodywork.

This font is based on Hasbro Inc.'s “Beast Wars: Transmetals” logo. It includes uppercase and lowercase letters, extended characters, punctuation, the euro symbol, italic, and condensed versions.
