SF Avondale SC Outline by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry is a free outlined slab serif font with tall, narrow capitals. The hollow construction looks crisp and engraved. Block serifs and uneven curves recall hand-cut shop signs.

The open letters echo line drawings on beverage packaging and restaurant menus. They also suit vintage event posters and music merchandise, suggesting painted signage. In logo work, the lettering can become the sign itself for pubs, workshops, or heritage brands.
