Rushil by Joseph Staleknight is a free medieval display font with the look of letters cut from rough timber. Its tall, uneven strokes shift between broad slabs and knife-thin edges. Sharp notches and blunt corners keep the forms raw and handmade.
It can play a rough-hewn title role on fantasy game covers, festival posters, and tavern branding, with the uneven silhouette becoming part of a crest or painted sign. Historical entertainment and folk merchandise suit its carved medieval flavor.
