Denne at the Tea Party, designed by Denise Bentulan in 2010, is a free hand-drawn display serif with broad, irregular letters and a lively inked texture. Loose outlines, uneven edges, and dense diagonal hatching give the strokes the look of a quick pen sketch, yet the rounded forms remain substantial and friendly.
A children's book cover is a particularly good fit, since the lettering can echo hand-rendered illustrations and playful scenes. The same scribbled construction suits party invitations, bakery packaging, and craft posters, especially for stories or products built around drawing, make-believe, and homemade treats.
