RocknRollTypoShadow by Otto Maurer is a free outlined display font. Its tall, high-contrast serif letters shift in scale, angle and baseline, with offset solid shadows and loose inner contours turning the alphabet into a lively cut-and-paste composition rather than a stable line of formal type.
The mismatched silhouettes echo hand-cut magazine lettering, so the font fits album artwork, gig posters and youth-fashion packaging. It also suits festival merchandise and editorial covers, where the jumping letter sizes can become part of a collage with torn paper, stickers, photocopied portraits and rough graphic marks, as if the lettering were another pasted image.
