Zephiroth Straight, created by David Espinosa of Type Sailor in 2013, is a free handwritten font with an elegant, theatrical sweep. Tall, narrow letters mix fine hairlines with broad downstrokes, and exaggerated loops thread through the forms in a lively, irregular rhythm.
It can turn a fashion label or invitation into something close to a custom signature. The long flourishes also suit album artwork and event posters with a glamorous or dramatic theme. In those settings, the lettering can become decoration itself, forming ribbons and loops.
