Zag Bold, designed by Svetoslav Simov for Fontfabric, is a free rounded sans serif with softly swollen strokes and an unusually fluid silhouette. Its single-storey forms, tapered joins, and sweeping curves give the lettering a playful, hand-shaped quality, even though the shapes remain clean and controlled.
Packaging is an especially good medium for these broad, friendly letters, particularly on sweets, soft drinks, and children's products where a lively logo can become part of the label artwork. The same curved construction can turn poster titles and game graphics into illustrated forms, with the dipping strokes and bulbous shapes echoing cartoon scenery or character outlines.
