In the role of painted signage, it gives punk posters, album artwork, and streetwear branding the urgent look of lettering made quickly with a loaded brush. Its strongest setting is music artwork, where the lean silhouettes can become part of a rough photocopied cover image rather than separate typography, though it also especially suits horror event graphics and independent film credits.
