WS KnamePlate by Melanie J. Cook is a free handwritten display font with a wiry, improvised silhouette. Its strokes shift from fine hairlines to blunt, inkier marks, and the letters lean and bend at uneven angles. The finish is raw and immediate.
It can turn a music poster or album cover into something resembling hurried marker lettering. The scratchy line and off-kilter shapes also suit underground event flyers and streetwear graphics, where their rough marks merge with illustration.
