World of Water by Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts is a free high-contrast sans serif with an eccentric, sharply cut silhouette. Broad curves meet deep triangular joins, and the stroke widths shift dramatically across the letters. Narrow upright forms sit beside broad rounded ones, producing an intentionally uneven texture.

Its theatrical geometry suits music posters and fashion branding, but also lends restaurant packaging and event graphics a lively retro edge. It speaks to designers who favor expressive, logo-like lettering.

World of Water has been almost completely redrawn in this new version. Spacing and kerning are new, accents have been redesigned, and more languages are supported. Additional punctuation and mathematical symbols, fractions, and numeric ordinals have been added. In OpenType-compatible applications, an alternate capital O and accented versions are available. In older applications, O can be substituted with zero. Vertical metrics settings have been improved for better web browser performance.

This font includes a desktop license that permits free commercial use. The license allows you to install the font on a computer and use it to create output. See the license agreement for details.

Embedding the font in an app, e-book, website, or anything else not covered by the desktop license requires a different license. Distributors offer different types of licenses, and you can contact the designer for assistance.
