Waxwork by Thomas W. Otto of Norfok Inc. is a free blackletter font with an especially severe, carved silhouette. Tall vertical strokes dominate the lettering, broken by blade-like angles and abrupt hooked tips. The forms feel narrow and tightly drawn.
It is strongest on horror film posters, where its dark medieval profile can carry a title without extra ornament. The same pointed construction suits metal album covers and haunted-attraction signage, and it can shape a memorable identity for candle packaging or theatrical brands built around mystery, old-world drama, and gothic spectacle.
