Vtks Scream, designed by Douglas Vitkauskas, is a free horror display font with the raw attack of hastily painted lettering. Its uneven capitals have ragged edges and sharp dragged ends, with strokes breaking into dry, scratchy marks.
Haunted attractions can use its aggressive lettering for entrance signs and promotional titles. It also suits metal merchandise and Halloween event posters, where the smeared texture can echo distressed photography or ink-splashed artwork. On album packaging, the letters can become part of the cover image rather than a neutral label.
