VTC Bad Whipit One by Larry E. Yerkes of Vigilante Typeface Corporation is a free distressed horror display font with squat, heavy capitals and wildly nicked edges. Each letter looks chewed or splattered, with uneven holes cut through the strokes and a rough silhouette that feels handmade rather than mechanically eroded.
It is especially convincing on horror posters, where the blunt shapes read like damaged title lettering. The recurring bites, spikes, and scattered voids also suit monster-game graphics, Halloween merchandise, and punk album covers, turning the words into part of the gruesome artwork.
