Tinos Italic is a free serif font with a pronounced rightward slant and crisp, high-contrast strokes. Broad capitals, finely tapered serifs, and a compact lowercase give the lettering the composed look of traditional book typography.

Its literary character makes it well suited to editorial features, book covers, and cultural event programs, especially when an established, formal voice is wanted. Restaurant menus and heritage-minded packaging can also use its graceful movement to suggest refinement without resorting to ornament.
