Tengwar Teleri di Redruth's Basement Software è un font dingbat fantasy gratuito con un inconfondibile stile calligrafico elfico. Le lettere scorrono in lunghi tratti affusolati e curve uncinate, con un susseguirsi di becchi simili a quelli di uccelli e punte affilate come foglie che rendono il set cerimoniale, piuttosto che puramente decorativo.

È ideale per copertine di libri, titoli di film, branding di giochi, pagine di ambientazione e poster mistici in cui un font gratuito riesce a trasmettere l'atmosfera da solo. Usalo per titoli brevi, monogrammi, incipit di capitoli o marchi simili a emblemi, specialmente quando desideri un lettering che sembri una scrittura inventata e mantenga un ritmo rituale e costante lungo la linea.

Descrizione

Tengwar Teleri is based (somewhat loosely) on the elven runes of J. R. R. Tolkein. The Teleri were one of the the three races of the High Elves, a portion of whom remained in Beleriand with Elwë Thingol and became the Sindarin, the Grey Elves of Middle Earth, while many others were carried to within sight of Valinor by Ulmo of the waters. There they dwelt in Tol Eressëa under the stars, and built tall swan ships and sailed the Sundering Seas. I have designed this font to reflect this; there is no precident for cygnoform tengwa in Tolkien's own work. Redruth's Basement is in no way affiliated with the Tolkein Estate.
