Springsteel Light Italic by Jan Schmoeger of Paragraph is a free light italic sans serif with a pronounced forward lean. Its slender strokes change gently in width, giving the broad curves a soft, calligraphic sweep. Long verticals and open shapes keep the lettering airy and poised.

Fashion branding and literary magazine covers both benefit from its elegant motion, despite their different audiences. It also suits cosmetics packaging and formal event invitations. The recurring sweep of the curves lends those applications a refined, handwritten note without turning into script.
