Slimania

Slimania, designed by Dieter Schumacher in 1999, is a free narrow sans serif with a cool late-modernist tone. The letters feel tall, clipped, and economical, mixing very slim vertical strokes with a few soft rounded joins that keep the font from turning sterile.

It suits posters, magazine cover lines, music packaging, title cards, and fashion branding where condensed-looking lettering can carry a lot of attitude in a short space. As a free font, it also makes sense for logos, short headers, and monogram-like initials, especially when you want a pared-back wordmark with a slightly sharp, urban edge.
