SketchTools, created by Mike Artell of Character, is a free illustrated display font built from familiar workshop and drafting tools. Each letter becomes a small object or assembly, with pliers, rulers, clamps, and handles shaping the strokes. The loose outlines keep the drawings convincingly hand-sketched.
Educational posters are its clearest setting, especially for lessons about making, repair, or design, and the same visual idea suits children's activity books and craft-event graphics. It is most convincing when the lettering itself needs to function as the central tool-themed illustration.
