SF Speedwaystar Shaded Italic by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry is a free motorsport display font with a hard forward slant. Broad, tightly fitted letters combine clipped corners with an offset shadow, giving the face the layered snap of vintage racing graphics.

Merchandise benefits from its fast, compact silhouette, especially on team shirts and vehicle decals. It also suits event posters and arcade game graphics. It is most convincing in racing logos, where the shadowed lean resembles a speedway badge.
