SF Florencesans Italic, designed by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry, is a free italic sans serif with a pronounced forward lean and spare, clean construction. Broad curves keep the steep slant fluid.

Fashion branding and sports graphics both benefit from its sense of speed, with the smooth drawing keeping the result controlled rather than aggressive. That streamlined look also fits magazine covers and album artwork built around sleek, contemporary photography. For fashion labels in particular, the slanted letterforms can turn a simple name into a compact mark with clear visual motion.
