Scorched Earth, created by Kevin Christopher in 2012, is a free eroded display font with massive, tightly packed capitals and an industrial silhouette. Damage gathers heavily along the lower edges.
Posters are its strongest medium, especially for horror films, extreme sports events, and heavy music promotions where the scratched texture can become part of the artwork. It also suits game packaging and merchandise built around ruined landscapes or scorched terrain. The lettering points toward post-apocalyptic, survival, and disaster themes.
