Sandwich

Sandwich is a free playful sans serif from 2001, built around tall caps that wobble and lean with a cut-paper, hand-set feel. The letters stay simple and clean, but their shifting angles and uneven rhythm give the alphabet a casual, slightly offbeat voice that feels more improvised than geometric.

That makes it a natural free font for posters, zine covers, flyer headlines, packaging labels, and title cards where a straight corporate tone would feel too stiff. It also works well for short branding, monograms, and big initials, because the caps already carry movement on their own and do not need much decoration to feel lively.
