Rugged Ride by S. John Ross of Cumberland Fontworks is a free eroded display font shaped around the look of heavy tire tracks. Each broad letter is packed with broken tread marks, combining a dense silhouette with rough gaps that suggest rubber stamped onto dusty ground.
Off-road racing and motorsport are its clearest territory. The tread pattern suits event posters, vehicle graphics, and apparel for clubs or outdoor brands, where the lettering can echo the machines and terrain behind the message. On packaging or game artwork, those repeated tire shapes can continue into track illustrations and muddy background textures, turning the words into part of the scene.
