Regen Font

Regen by Neale Davidson of Pixel Sagas is a free techno display font with the broad, engineered look of science-fiction hardware. Its rounded rectangular forms carry almost no stroke contrast, and squared openings give the lettering a precise mechanical finish. Alternating wide and compact shapes keep the line from feeling monotonous.

As an interface-style title, it suits game menus and technology event graphics well. The same industrial geometry can shape electronics branding and futuristic merchandise. In magazine design, Regen can make a feature heading part of a machine-inspired editorial theme.

Regen is based on the logo used on the cover of IDW’s Transformers: Regeneration One comics by Simon Furman. It includes a full alphabet, extended punctuation, and the euro symbol, with regular, bold, italic, and bold-italic versions.
