QUBE by Dan Redding of B/W Fontworks is a free pixel display font built from massive, tightly packed square-edged forms, small rectangular cutouts, and hard right-angle turns. Its silhouette is stark, compact, and almost monolithic.
Game interfaces are its strongest use, since the near-solid letter shapes resemble graphics assembled on an early low-resolution screen. The same digital construction fits arcade posters, electronic music covers, and tech merchandise with a severe retro-computing edge. On product packaging, the squared mass can become a recognizable part of a game or hardware brand identity.
