Psychedelic Smoke, adapted in 1990 by Walter Kafton-Minkel, is a free groovy psychedelic display font with letters that look as if they are melting into curls of black smoke. The caps sway and drip with a slow, liquid rhythm, mixing bulbous turns, long tapering tails, and little hooked flicks that give the alphabet a trippy late-60s poster mood.

It fits music posters, festival flyers, record sleeves, shop signs, and cover lines where a free font can carry the whole mood in a few letters. Use it for title cards, short headlines, or monograms when you want the lettering itself to feel hazy and hallucinatory, not merely decorative.
