Porter Regular Font

Porter from Sludge Puppy Type Foundry is a free distorted serif display font with blunt, uneven forms that resemble lettering pulled from an old woodblock print. Warped edges and shifting stroke widths make the caps theatrical.

Posters are its most convincing setting, especially for arts and music events with a handmade or deliberately off-kilter look. The irregular silhouettes can also turn packaging and merchandise into part of the same printed graphic world rather than behaving like neutral labels. Book covers and editorial features offer another home for its dark, antique-print flavor.
