PKS Masry Bold Italic, designed by Andi Aw Masry, is a free high-contrast italic serif with broad curves and a lively calligraphic sweep. Its rounded forms meet sharp tapered joins, and the strong slant pushes the lettering forward, with generous proportions keeping those changes smooth rather than brittle.

For fashion branding and magazine covers, the dramatic stroke changes supply elegance and motion, yet the same muscular curves can give restaurant packaging a warm theatrical edge, especially for brands built around expressive, handcrafted luxury.
