PF More Joy of Reading, designed by David E. Howerton of Planck Foam Scholarly Dragon Press, is a free illustrated display font built around sturdy serif letters and a recurring bookish figure. The lettering has broad, softly rounded strokes with modest thick-thin contrast. Each character reads like a tiny literary vignette.
It is strongest in reading-themed posters, where the repeated scholar illustration can function as both lettering and artwork. Book covers, library event materials, and educational publishing can use its academic imagery to connect typography directly with stories and study.
