Nightwatcher Italic, designed by Nate Piekos, is a free handwritten brush script with the speed and irregularity of marker lettering. Its strokes shift from slim entry lines to broad, dark sweeps, and the letters lean forward with a restless pace. The finish is raw and immediate.
The sweeping forms can echo inked character art on comic covers and entertainment posters, making the lettering feel drawn into the scene rather than placed over it.
