N.E. New Newbix22, credited to neurone error of FontShop International GmbH, is a free brush-mark dingbat font composed of tapered slashes and flicks. The marks vary in length and curve yet share a dry, quick stroke with pointed ends. Their broken silhouettes imply rapid movement.
Comic artwork is the most convincing setting because these symbols can act as speed trails, impacts, or bursts around figures. They also suit game graphics, sports merchandise, and music posters that draw on forceful handmade marks. The repeated streak motif links the font especially well to action, racing, and energetic rock imagery.
