Mission GT-R Italic Font

Mission GT-R Italic, designed by Neale Davidson in 2013, is a free futuristic display font with a broad, forcefully slanted profile. Its dense strokes round off at the outer corners, then break into sharp cuts around joins and openings. The lettering feels fast even at rest.

A motorsport poster is its clearest setting, where the stretched proportions and forward lean echo racing graphics and aerodynamic bodywork. The same assertive shape can drive arcade game branding, performance-car merchandise, and electronic music artwork. Across those uses, the clipped inner shapes and long horizontal strokes can resemble speed lines or machine-panel details, tying the type directly to the surrounding graphics.
