Mercutio NBP by Nate Halley is a free pixel font with towering proportions and a stark, early-computer edge. Its broad capitals, narrow lowercase forms, and unusually open square shapes create an uneven silhouette, set apart by sudden shifts between dense and spare letterforms.
Retro game interfaces are its strongest setting, particularly score panels and status screens with a deliberately raw electronic look. Music posters and tech merchandise suit it too.
