Mellow, credited to Leon Hulst, TypeFaith fonts, and WAT ontwerpers, is a free comic display font with very chunky, irregular lettering and deliberately uneven proportions. Wide, lopsided shapes look cut from thick sheets of paper.

Children's publishing is its most convincing home, especially for lively picture-book covers and activity pages that benefit from the goofy shifts in width and height. It can also suit snack packaging and cheerful event posters, where the broad, uneven forms read more like hand-cut lettering than standard type. Those blunt wedges and bouncing circles can echo simple collage artwork, food mascots, or playful geometric patterns.
