Matchstick Slim, designed and created by Alan Thatcher, is a free decorative display font shaped like miniature matchstick constructions. Fine monoline strokes connect oversized circular tips, producing open letters with jaunty angles and an amusing mechanical quality.

Packaging can turn those round joints into a recurring motif across labels, borders, and product illustrations. The same construction suits science museum graphics, educational publishing, toy branding, and playful event posters, especially when diagrams or simple line drawings share the page.
