Matchbook Serif by One by Four is a free retro display font built from tall, monoline letters and matchstick-like details. Rounded bends soften the narrow forms. Small bulb tips and short crossbars make the strokes resemble pinned rods or spent matches, giving the design a spare, handmade wit.

It is most convincing on matchbox packaging, where the thin upright shapes can become part of the product illustration rather than simple labeling. The match-head motif suits cafe branding, gig posters, and editorial covers centered on fire, craft, or small-scale ephemera.
