LM Roman Demi 10, designed by B. Jackowski and J. M. Nowacki for TeX user groups, is a free high-contrast serif with firm serifs and pronounced stroke variation. Its upright letters have generous proportions and a composed, bookish appearance.

A scholarly publisher or heritage-minded institution could use it for book covers, exhibition materials, and formal branding. The crisp modulation and substantial main strokes also suit magazine features. Across these settings, the traditional construction gives text an established editorial voice rather than turning it into decoration.
