Labtop Secundo

Labtop Secundo, designed by Graham Meade and Apostrophic Labs in 2001, is a free narrow sans serif font defined by an unusually tall, upright rhythm. The lettering rises in slim monoline strokes with soft rounded turns, giving the design a spare vertical texture that feels closer to signage and interface labeling than to a neutral workhorse sans.

That elongated cadence makes sense on tech posters, app splash screens, navigation headers, product packaging, and compact branding where height does more of the work than width. Short titles and menu-style text especially benefit from its column-like silhouette, which gives small spaces a distinctly lean, organized presence.
