Junius Bold Font

Junius Bold, designed by Peter S. Baker, is a free old-style serif with strong calligraphic influence and an unusually lively silhouette. Its broad curves meet fine strokes and sharp, flared serifs.

Book covers are its most convincing setting, since the dark, rolling letterforms suggest archival texts, folklore, and early printed pages without copying a formal blackletter style.
