Intrique Script by Måns Grebäck is a free calligraphic font with broad, sweeping capitals and sharply changing stroke widths. Rounded terminals punctuate the lettering like ink drops. Long curves and compact joins give the script a formal, theatrical flow.
Packaging gives its elaborate capitals a natural stage, especially for perfume labels and confectionery boxes. The same flourish can lend wedding invitations and fashion editorials a sense of ceremony without relying on extra ornament. It is most convincing when the lettering itself is meant to act as the decorative centerpiece.
