Inky Doo Serif by JJW van der Ham of JOEBOB graphics is a free handwritten font with tall, loosely drawn letters and a lively storybook air. Its uneven strokes shift from fine to broad, with blunt wedge serifs and softly wobbling curves. The forms look spontaneous but remain confidently shaped.
Folklore and children's storytelling suit this lettering, especially on book covers, cafe packaging, and theatrical posters. The bent strokes and irregular serifs can echo inked illustrations, hand-drawn borders, or quirky character art, helping the type become part of the world.
