In The Garden by Kevin Christopher of KC Fonts is a free distorted display font with extremely tall, narrow letters and an uneasy, hand-drawn line. Its strokes bend and swell unpredictably, giving each character a slightly different silhouette. The spacing feels taut and restless.
Poster titles are its clearest role, especially for indie music events, experimental theater, or offbeat fashion campaigns. The stretched forms also suit album packaging and magazine covers, where their wiry contours can echo plant stems, scratchy drawings, or similarly loose illustration rather than serving as neutral type.
