Illustries2 by Joan M. Mas is a free vintage figure dingbat font built from lively human silhouettes. The drawings use dense, uneven ink shapes and economical interior details, giving each pose the look of an old newspaper spot illustration.
It can turn packaging and posters into miniature period scenes for theater events and history-themed entertainment. Publishing is its strongest use: the compact figures make memorable chapter ornaments and editorial dividers, with gestures and props carrying more narrative than an ordinary decorative mark.
