Horst Blackletter by Christopher Horst is a free modern blackletter font with a dense, sharply cut silhouette. Its broad shapes break into hooked points, long blades, and sudden inward curves. Changing stroke widths and irregular joins make the lettering look aggressive and hand-carved rather than formal.
Alternative fashion brands and metal bands could use it for logos, album covers, merchandise, and concert posters with a dark, confrontational edge. Across these settings, the repeated thorn-like tips can become part of a larger graphic motif, echoing spikes, flames, or angular illustration.
