Hooge 05 55 Cyr2, created by Craig Kroeger and Nikolay Dubina, is a free pixel font built from hard-edged rectangular modules. Its compact letters use broad verticals, square corners, and sharply cut internal gaps. The result is blunt and distinctly screen-made.
The shared grid logic of the lettering and low-resolution icons makes it a useful match for game interfaces, digital graphics, and technology branding. It can also bring an early-computer reference to music merchandise and event posters, but its most convincing role is in interface-style display text where the squared forms become part of the screen graphic rather than mere labels.
